I have noticed that if a wing is too large, it will wobble and crash the plane. I would really like to know a solution, and "make the wings smaller" is not an acceptable answer. Also, devs if you read this, I would really appreciate sonmthing in an update to fix this.
@TheTMac oh ok...
@Nickasaurus Im probably not going to mess around with this, but thanks for helping.
@TheTMac ah kindle. you should be able to although i'm on a nexus 7 and a LG-G3 so it'll be a bit different. you want to get a file explorer and go to main, android, data, and find simpleplanes SOMEWHERE on that list. then go to aircraft designs and find one of your saved planes. once you get the hang of all this you can experiment with subassemblies too. but once you open one of your planes you'll see all kinds of confusing text (download a text editor so you can open the XML) then scroll down and find your engine. should be something like this: partType="Engine-Jet-?". then in there find MAX="1" and change that 1 to a 2. big numbers wont have a good acceleration time so watch out for that. also note negative numbers wont work (trust me ive tried) then you can safely save the xml, go back to simple planes, load the plane, and fly it.
@Nickasaurus If I can I dont know how. Could you tell me? I use a kindle fire. ty
Actually your on Android so you can mod it
@TheTMac well I can mod them for you.
Also, I forgot to add that the wings wobble at the front and back, not from the tips.
@Nickasaurus I use scructural wings when I can, but since I use mobile, they cant be modded.
@TheTMac wings usually wobbles when the fuselage is too heavy or the wings extremely long, try to make wings proportional to fuselage
do you use structural wings? they are very strong and can be modded to have control surfaces.
It's not a bug, it is called flutter effect. Look it up, very interesting read @Thefalloutplayr
It does it for any size wing the Problem is speed and the "bug" it does to the wings
