yeah hangouts has been great for communicating with other SP users :)

For that, we generally use reddit PMs or messenger apps

@Sutairs and it should work vice versa. Someone can only start a convo with you if you follow them

And you can only start a conversation with someone who follows you

I dont know of any way to send private message but yes that would a great addition to the site
