It would be pretty cool if we could select a sub assembly and remove all the open connection points that are on it. And when we nudge those assemblies it should nudge the entire thing instead of just the selected part. That way we could build and accurately place loose objects within our builds.
It would also be cool to be able to select a sub assembly (provided that they only consists of scalable pieces) and then have the option of scaling the entire thing up or down. That would allow for some really detailed work possibilities.
What do you guys think?
nglitwill be cool
make lights that going a sircle
YES THIS WOULD BE AWESOME
@TheLatentImage ive got a hole buggy chassis in my sub assembly storage its in 2 parts i was gonna use them for somthing
I also think a slider like in the dog fight mode when selecting planes would help especially for people like me who have tons of subassemblies also just having the slider in the builder mode would be great also
so a "merge sub-assembly" button?
agreed
Great!
That's would be a great feature! Would go nicely with @Hellfirekoder mod which is awesome!
@TheLatentImage thanks
Hey I need ur help on this@TheLatentImage
@letsgofast11 well then you should check the highest rated section of the week on the forums. @HellFireKoder created just such a tool.
It would be nice if we could angle parts without using xml and instead just have some tool to do it on simple planes @AndrewGarrison @PhillipTarpley @TheLatentImage
That would be awesome, great idea!
Yes, even better is if we could add and remove our own connection points instead of xml modding them out...
@Flightsonic thank you sir.
@TheLatentImage ah I see, that's a great idea
For connections already established that would work. But I want the piece to be prevented from creating any more connection points at all. That way I can drag it around and try to get it placed without worrying about it connecting to something. @Flightsonic
FIRST and yes, especially the nudge idea for whole sections, and about removing all connections, I believe you could do that in the XML, just delete the lines for the connection points
