Hey guys! I threw together a simple mod that disables gravity!
You'll need to disable it and restart the game to return gravity to normal.
(or open the dev console and type "ToggleNormalGravity", but dev console disables achievements for the session)
Installation instructions:
PC:
- Download the PC mod from here
- Move the .spmod file to
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\Mods
(if theMods
folder isn't there, you can create it) - Start SimplePlanes
- Click on the new "Mods" option in the main menu.
- Click on the "No Gravity" mod and then in the lower right hit "enable"
PC-Alternative:
- Download the PC mod from here
- Double click the mod and if asked open with Steam bootstrapper and tell Steam it's ok to open SimplePlanes.
- Click on the "No Gravity" mod and then in the lower right hit "enable"
- note: this is marked as "Alternative" because there may be glitches with it on some machines, but if either one doesn't work try the other.
OSX:
- Download the PC mod from here
- Move the .spmod file to
ROOT:/Users/[UserName]/Library/Application Support/unity.Jundroo.SimplePlanes/Mods
(if theMods
folder isn't there, you can create it) - Start SimplePlanes
- Click on the new "Mods" option in the main menu
- Click on the "No Gravity" mod and then in the lower right hit "enable"
Android:
- Download the Android mod from here
- Move the .spmod-android file to
Android/data/com.jundroo.SimplePlanes/files/Mods
(if theMods
folder isn't there, you can create it) - Start SimplePlanes
- Click on the new "Mods" option in the main menu.
- Click on the "No Gravity" mod and then in the lower right hit "enable"
- note: you may be able to try and open the mod file after downloading, but some people may have trouble getting it to open with SimplePlanes, and the way I have written out is more reliable.
2018 - the mod does not work on my android. And yes I did install it properly
WORKING HOVER CAR HERE I COME!!!!!
:(@HellFireKoder
@LightningTreeSavor because of Apple's policy, iOS doesn't support mods
We're the iOS instructions?
@BritishNarwhal yeah, just follow the manual directions for installation that are.in the post... and remember that you need to disable the mod and exit the game to turn gravity back on.
does this work for steam?
@Ngoat It might be, but it would probably have terrible performance after TONS of work, and I'm not even sure.
@ArtisticFailure LOL

@HellFireKoder where? I cant find letters with link not only blue letters. letter with link.
@Theperson by following the directions closely, and note just trying to open the mod file.
If you have already done it EXACTLY as the directions say, then make sure you completely exit SP with the in-game button, then go back in, and if that doesn't work try force-stopping SP or rebooting your device.
If that doesn't work, sorry, I can't help because I have no knowledge of the problem and I can't experiment.
How do you get the mods section to show up in the simple planes app for Android
@Farhad check this out for formatting "secrets"!
Like This @Farhad
@HellFireKoder how do you type with blue letter and link?
@TehDuck how do you type with blue letter with link?

@TehDuck thanks, but I'm not pulling images off of Google or anything, and I said simple XD
@QUOTEGOD kindle fire supports mods just like any other Android devices, because it runs a modified version of Android.
If you have SP on it, you can run mods, I tested this on my kindle fire, just use a file browser like ES File explorer or something, and move the mod file as stated in the instructions.
@Flightsonic mine doesn't
