You know those things in life that you take for granted? Maybe it's the young lady at the coffee shop that knows your name and how you take your coffee and greets you with a smile. Maybe it's the coworker who always holds the door for you and says goodbye at the end of the day. Well one day they expand their horizons and move on and you just feel an empty space. You never really knew how much you appreciated them until they were gone. To me, Hypnotoad was one of those people. For me he left a pretty big empty space. I miss him, I'm pretty sure that we all do.
Let me introduce myself. I'm ZFM99, but you can call me Zach. I used to do incredibly in-depth reviews of Hypno's planes, and honestly, I really enjoyed it even though it was a lot of work and I held myself to a high standard. But this isn't about me, it's about Hypnotoad.
The real reason I'm making this post is to try to find out what really happened to Hypno and if he is ever coming back. I was in a group of a small few on Google Hangouts, and last I heard from him he was having family trouble, after that he just disappeared. If anyone knows anything more I would really appreciate if you shared, I'm sure the community would too.
Too Long; Didn't Read: Hypnotoad was a very important member of the community but it has been 7 months since his last post. Myself and a couple others are looking for information on what possibly could have happened to him and if you had any idea we would appreciate it if you shared.

Some feels, not relevant to the conversation but feel free to share yours below also. I'm pretty sure we can all agree Hypnotoad was a very nice and caring gentleman, he always responded to comments in a polite and professional manner and was always encouraging. I really miss your yawless flying beauties man, I hope we can have them, and you, back on the website someday.
I'm relatively new to Simpleplanes, but my friend talks about him all the time. He says he basically wouldn't be on the verge of gold without him.

Likely I think... because of the nature of SP.. its not a 'game' but something else... Creating things, and then people liking what you create, thats part of what is different... maybe he needs a break, has things to do, or something else, but I suspect he will be back! @BroPlanes

Hypnotoad was the coolest guy, he followed me, flew, rated, and said nice things about my planes, and was an all around awesome guy. I miss him a lot, he was like a brother

From memory he stopped posting after one of the updates, I think it was the update which introduced the fuselage block. Not sure if thats related, but all of his planes were from wing construction and as a result very very high performers - fast, tight and super stable...
