The april fool... hemm... I mean, the serious issue to points, give me an idea. Why do not put a second tag at any user account, with "THIS MONTH POINTS"? So there is a second classification, that give an impulse to newbie.. give an immediate idea of the recent activity of an user we are looking on... I think it will be a nice add.

They could also say, not exactly, but say that a person has been on within the past day, week, month
That's actually a pretty good idea. They could even make that what everyone sees and have their total points somewhere else.
