This is an out of interest question to everyone and it is, how many in the community have a screen recording software of sorts and would be interested in partaking in a long distance race?
I was recently inspired by the planes from the MacRobertson race created by @Seabo14 and I thought wouldn't it be cool to host a long distance air race. I presume all of you know there are two islands in the game, one containing Wright airport, the other containing the Bandit and Yeager airports. Although the exact course (whether there would be more stops at other airports) would not be set in stone yet, the general idea would be to take off from Bandit airport, fly over the sea, and land on the island at Wright airport in the shortest time possible.
There would be some limitations to the planes able to be created, for one, only the T1000 and T2000 props would be available, as during the actual MacRobertson air race Turbo props didn't exist. There would maybe be some kind of size restriction imposed or a maximum fuel amount a plane can carry. Although I understand in the real air race there were no limitations on the size or power of the aircraft, these restrictions mostly the latter would allow for the most creative but interesting race possible. However, none of these restrictions are set in stone.
If anyone is still reading this forum post, by now you're probably wondering, well where does screen recording come into this. The trouble with holding a race like this would simply be how would one judge it. And this is my compromise I have created. As there is no AI that could complete the journey the idea would be to let you, the creators of your aircraft, fly the race, and send in a screen recording to check you did not simply make up a really fast time. The planes would all also be compulsory successors to the challenge or would have to be sent to me as I would have to check that they conform to the regulations.
Anyone who would potentially be interested in this race or has any ideas for it please comment down below.
@SpiraXD Oh thanks!
@Flightsonic Use Camstudio its free & is compatible with any GPU.
@rggaming1 Maybe If I download one instead of using Windows 10
@rggaming1 True
@Flightsonic if there were someone who you could trust to race your plane for you, who isn't in the race you could send it to them. The crucial thing is trying to get an unbiased pilot.
Sadly my graphic card SUCKS and I can't even screen record
