I do wonder what exactly its whispering but other than that, I want to destroy it, but its simple, it can't be destroyed by planes, and i just made a real bad plane pun.
@Cadin Not sure, but I'd say Nathan used a trigger for the skybox storm. I animated the mesh of Cthulhu (which Kevin created) using Unity's animation tools.
@joeysellers Heya, just a couple quick quetions... Can I call up the storm transition for mods, or did Nathan just adjust the skybox on-trigger? As far as the animation, did you facilitate it via blender or was everything built via Unity? Thanks!
@MechWARRIOR57 I'm not saying you didn't piece something together, based on a muffled stream of phonetic sounds. People find patterns by instinct, even if they're random and subjective, like seeing shapes in clouds. What I am saying, however, is that the sounds I mixed together had no decipherable words, and I'm not even sure if the language being spoken was English, so if anybody is looking for a hidden meaning, there isn't one that was intentionally put there.
@MechWARRIOR57 Ha! Yes, I'm pretty sure. But you could probably discern a few phonetic sounds and piece something together. I'm not even sure which language the voices are whispering, to be honest.
Kevin was playing around with a design for an island when Philip mentioned that it looked like Cthulhu, so he made the tentacles to match. We thought it would just be this weird statue thing, hanging out in the ocean like the other islands, but I opted in to animate him and mix some good sounds together. Nathan implemented the storm transition, @Thefalloutplayr
I feel like Joey and the guys were hanging out at a bar and one that one episode of South Park came on (the Cthulhu one) and Nathan's like you know what what if we put Cthulhu out in the middle of the ocean with tentecles and everything! And Joey: yeah! And we can have him whisper stuff!!! Andrew: (the only sober one) idk we might get backlash! Kevin Who cares we made the game and WE make the decisions Andrew : yeah ok I'm down with it! All the Devs together: all for Cthulhu say I (Unanimous I) Kevin: Motion carrys now on to next order of business.. JELLLO SHOTS!!!!!!! Wooooooo!@joeysellers @Skua @ShatteredAviation
Why is @joeysellers dev card black?
I always carried a bomb after this happened to me and i also carry a rocket pod @LeFrankieStanky
It shows me the words i say
I had text from my word maker (it records my vids) say see what happens when i flew into the tentacle

@joeysellers Awesome, thanks!

and "see what happens" was very clear like someone was whispering it to me but the rest was gibberish @joeysellers
oh ok so I'm not crazy to think the beast said "see What happened"? @joeysellers

are you sure? because I think I heard "see what happens" in the start of one of the whispers@joeysellers
@joeysellers ok. thanks
I tried to use whispering voices that don't have any discernible words. So.. if there is a hidden message in there, it's all in your own head..
The answer to your question: ding-ding-ding-ding-dinga-dinga-ding!
Or maybe: awoooooooooooooo!
Or even: cha-cha-cha-cha-chachow
Lol@joeysellers
Well, I'm all about Kevin ordering a round of Jell-O shots. @Thefalloutplayr
@Thefalloutplayr lol
I like my version better!@joeysellers
@joeysellers so it was all Philip's fault I only fell asleep at 2:30 am last night.
