Although I might not have fully explored the island of maywar, I'm pretty sure there isn't a formal "airport" there. Someone please do correct me if I'm just being a raving lunatic.
However, assuming I am not a rambling idiot, was anyone else disappointed that there was no airport at Maywar? I’m sure many of us airliner builders are very excited by the new wheels and particularly the new engines! However, does anyone else feel that the potential increased numbers of airliners could do with a new airport terminus? In a future update I would really like to see an airport at Maywar Island…. But, why not make it something modern? Perhaps inspired by Egypt or Dubai airport to fit the theme.
Although I understand Dubai is nowhere near Egypt, I just really like the airport building :D
there is no official airport, but there is a designated air strip (kinda) by the wind farm. If you fly over, it will unlock the location.

Actually i Crashed the first time mistaking the terrain smoothness and the second time was very rough and heavy bumps which was borderline to crashing. Both airplanes i used also had Flaps which helped alot.
I noticed that... and you cant really land at snow stone because you will get obliterated by sams.

Yes! i was expecting atleast some sort of bandit like airport. It took me 2 whole circles in my annoyingly slow airplane to finally accept there is no real airport, in the end i landed at the plateau near the smaller pyramids and saved my own.
