It's cool, it's not unusual for newer people to get frustrated about the lack of attention. After all, it had to happen quite a lot for the community to turn against it in the first place. Otherwise, contests and tournaments can be a pretty good way of getting people to notice you, as well as helping with requests on the forums if you're able to
