Yes, i know the desert can serve as a landing strip but I think there should be a proper landing strip. And luckly for you guys, I have an idea.
So I think that the pyramids and the small town should act like a dig site and a small airport would be located nearby(also serves as a camp for all those archaeologists working at the dig site)with an airstrip. That way we can take off and land from Maywar more easily. This would also make sense because, if you think about it, why is there a windmill farm in the middle of a desert island. The windmill farm wouldd be the airport's source of power.

@MasterManufacturingCo I know, but Yeager and Wright ( there are those destoyers) are about 90-120 miles from Maywar.
I think there should be a helipad.

I think that there needs to be one main boss battle in the game that is really complex and hard, like maybe something like the kraken
