Hi!
Does anyone know if it's possible to destroy or enter the artic base? The only way I've though of what to fly straight at it at a really fast speed and just get your cockpit in enough to save your location.. Essentially crashing into it. The lasers and missiles seem pretty hard to pass.
@Skua I once did it with a Ju-87 Stuka, again with a D3A Val, and then shoved a bomb to an aimbot-rigged plane and had it drop to a couple meters' worth of accuracy...
Use planes made by Sadboye12. I used the Sol II, which just tanked the missiles and got me straight in
Is pretty easy to me when i discovered snowstone all i did is fire Fast SuperSonic missile with high explosive[xml modded] boom ez :|
Fly a fighter jet equipped with miniguns
you won't need countermeasures. All you need is high-damage miniguns and a plane with great maneuverability. Ideally a jet plane designed for close-range dogfighting without missiles. Keep spraying the turrets with bullets, then land carefully on the base runway.
I'd recommend a DeHavilland Mosquito with upgraded guns and engines.
Dodge the missiles while attacking the turrets.

It is easy to enter just get a fast plane (I suggest the SR-71) crash above it press restart here and do that till you are in front of the base and it will tell you that it is now a location and the rockets and lasers won’t shoot you again
Once I let the base run out of ammo and the lasers started shooting me.
The key to survival is within good evasive manoeuvres and firing a session of 3+ missiles at one turret.

Point of surviving the missiles; COUNTER MEASURES.
Use one if the base is targeting you, and in this case, Guardians and Cleavers are good weapons that can be fire and forget.
The base do have self-protection so maybe you need ten guardians.
I did blow up the base, but then I crashed into it...
Not really necesary to blow it up.

@Skua i didn't know the ice base had lasers, hmmmmmm now i got a new challenge.
It can be done! There's a discoverable location inside too. There are two good ways to bypass the laser defences: either launch your missiles from really close range, or (my preferred method) fire loads at once. I got pretty easy results by loading up with 8 inferno missiles. Connect four of them to group 1 and the other four to group 2. Launch group 1 as soon as you have lock, then pull away and dodge any incoming missiles. Firing four at once should mean that at least one gets past the laser. Once you're safe and out of range, come back for the second turret. Make sure that you don't connect all the missiles on one side to the same group, or your plane will get all unbalanced when you fire it.
You can destroy the SAM Turret with enough missiles
