Warning: contains a strawpoll
its finally done! the Stratrolifter II Cargo plane. i made it before beta, but i will modify and release it with lights once everyone gets the update. in the mean time, here are some nice liverys and pictures for you. believe me its so fun making cargo planes that actually have cargo inside it. Eg the cargo contest by rocketLL.
my beluga designed plane got a high liking in the contest so i made a new one bigger, better, faster.
this one is the first plane of mine to have working flaps.
heres a pic with its cargo door and flaps open
Opinion on livery
here are the liverys(sorry if i spell it wrong im on a tight schedule) Post in comment on your decision or in the strawpoll below. i suggest the White standard livery
White(factory) I suggestion this one as you can make your own livery off it

-Payload on this aircraft
22 Cargo boxes (22,000 lbs) 20 droppable in middle fuselage and 2 maybe 4 attached to aircraft. Further to the rear
-Statement of Intent-
After the enjoyment of creating the first Stratolifter, i planned to build a much larger successor in its place (like the beluga XL) i added much rotator related features as possible. as the I version came 3rd on the cargo contest, it had given me the final push to build much greater one. compared to it this has nearly 10 more cargo boxs, 1 additional rmp that gets detach with the cargo bay, and wing flaps.
OLD SOI
This is my entry for the Cargo challenge Rather than a plane with pure power in the maximum create lifting department, my design has been made to excel in the other factors. Whilest being realistic, the design has funtions im proud of. as mentioned above it carrys 14 creates and could of carried more but was sacrificed for the features and realism factors. It reached maximum size room capacity rather tnah weight capacity.
I Present to you the Statrolifter series of aircraft.One of the highlights is that the aircraft can run only on 2(though 4 is used) engines and not require a large number of engines or external loadouts not detachable unlike the others.
I have enjoyed making this plane and i hope to make more variants alike it. One of the best things about this is that it can only fly with 2 engines, even with a large load.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as i did.
-Instructional info-
The controls should be a lot more confusing due to alot more demand. But i made it as suitable as possible
-Vtol up ACT7: open ramps/doors
-TRIM Down ACt 8: flaps down (vtol up act8 if i forgot to change it)
-Throttle ACT7: rear gear control.100%=Up 0%=extends. Double tap act7 to toggle make sure vtol is centre or this will effect doors
-ACT 1: opens cargo bay for box drop
-ACT 2-6: drops boxs 4 per act.
to take off
-If flaps are set to TRIM8:
trim half down, takeoff doulbe tap 7 and retract [g]ears. trim up when you want to retract flaps. much more Simple.
- if flaps are set by VTOL8:
flaps set to halfway with vtol half up then disable act 8 and bring vtol to middle. when in the air retract gear with [G]ear and double tapping 7 (100% throtte) activate 8 to retract flaps since vtol has already been set to 0 (centre).
to land
-with flaps trim8:
easy, you can figure yourself
-with flaps are vtol 8.
make sure 7 is disabled. 8 is activated vtol all the way up disable 8 and vtol to centre. throttle 0% on final approach double tap 7, press g and activate 8 with vtol down again (this will activate the airbrake-substituted flaps)

I was joking tho
@ChunderDownUndeR k
@SalemASaberhagen
Sorry but i had to concentrate in keeping both planes together and not crash or get lost to appreciate the plane. What i wanted to tell you is they crashed into the same mountain i think. on one side the glider is still in teact and if the picture was larger you might see debris from the prop plane on the other side of the mountain base.
I don't think I need to download it anymore. I've seen it already! Lol.
@ChunderDownUndeR nice handling eh
@SalemASaberhagen
Clearly the pictures lack a story so your going to have make and think up the scenario yourself
@ChunderDownUndeR Idc what the story line is but can u use my Schweitzer SGS 2-33 glider?
@ChunderDownUndeR sure
@ChunderDownUndeR I already did. I'll make my own I guess
@SimpleTechAndResearch
maybe another time when im not busy, but il make sure to make it extra destructible just for you;).
you can also check out the photo-crash competition if you haven't already.
@ChunderDownUndeR I enjoy them. Maybe a 747 Crashing into this
@bspboy
Cheers mate, it makes it all worthwhile
@SalemASaberhagen
Do you still want your crash photos while im at it?
@SimpleTechAndResearch
haha yeah a WWII light fighter wins against a crash against a 100 ton plane
@SimpleTechAndResearch
There you go mate,
You still got to think of the scenario
but this is the jist.
Stratolifter land on yeager with a intruding p51 idling
SL's wing clips p51 causing it to tear off and the 51 gets flipped into the air frm the force.
SL then loses control of the runway and skid into a tree breaking the other wing which swings sideways into a hanger wall and breaking it eve more, meanwhile the p51 nbose dives and gets its rudder, wing and propeller damage in the crash
I was overwhelmed by the text wall of doom. That is amazing.
@ChunderDownUndeR P-51 WINS!??
@SimpleTechAndResearch
@Griffith
It can only be done on Pc i think, race against opponents on snadbox mode where you can select two of your planes and make them AI-race against eachother.
@SalemASaberhagen
Airplane properties - its one of the things on the PC also, got added into with beta i think.
@ChunderDownUndeR dis
@ChunderDownUndeR how did you get both of them to fly together?
This one @ChunderDownUndeR
@SimpleTechAndResearch
Oh a mid-air collision will be hard, any specific mustang you want me to use?
@ChunderDownUndeR Then it accidently crashes into the tiny
@SimpleTechAndResearch
Sure.
