THE MACH LOOP MAP MOD!
As sea level rise became a huge problem, a training ground was lacking. A scientist had an idea. Three nights later, after a lot of persuation and some geological hacking, The Mach Loop rose from the ground.
Extract from machloop.co.uk:
The Mach Loop is a set of valleys, situated between Dolgellau in the north, and Machynlleth in the south (and from which the Mach Loop gets its name), which are regularly used for low level flight training, with flying as low as 250 feet (76 metres) from the nearest terrain.
A small airbase was made next to the terrain.
This map is a standalone map with real terrain data from terrain.party. Textures and the airstrip island are fictional.

This took me a few days, but now I know all the tricks and how-tos I could probably do it faster. If you know of any sites with interesting terrain, tell me and I might make a map of them.
Oh
@KnightOfAraluen hmm good idea
Would you be able to do an off road rally coarse? Seeing as maywar isnt on mobile, and bandit lags too much, maybe you could make it. If you do, could you keep the size down low. All I want is a short rally track with some turns, and a couple jumps. If you dont make it, I completely understand.
I hate the looping music but I think the map is great
@redbear89 great
@WNP78 ok.. Thx mate.. I found it.. :)
@redbear89 you should just be able to open with SimplePlanes. If not, use a file manager to move it to
sdcard/Android/data/com.jundroo.simpleplanes/files/mods/
Then, open Simpleplanes and you should see a mods button. Click mods, find this one, click it, click enable in the bottom right, then go back to the front page where there should be a 'Mod Sandbox maps' button. Click on it, find mine and click it, then press play...
and.. how i use this map after i download this..?
this ma is s good it is the only map that work in 1.4 yll other mps didnt worj
@WNP78 can you please make a space map? One with asteroids and stuff which works with the No Gravity mod? Or maybe just one large international airport? Thanks for reading.
@WNP78 Very observant!
@NathanMikeska thanks. And is it just me, or have you recently added capitals to your name?
@WNP78 Awesome!
@NathanMikeska All three versions up and working!
@WNP78 The auto-pilot issue should be fixed the next time we push an update to Steam. Sorry about that and thanks for bringing it to my attention.
@nathanmikeska just a note, is there any way of stopping the 'Autopilot is disabled on the current level' message? (followed by lack of autopilot, of course)
@nathanmikeska Ok, good to know it's not my device glitching out.
@WNP78 I'd be surprised if mods built using the newer mod tools and Unity 5.3 will load on the current release version of android. I think Unity made some changes to the asset bundle format (used by our modding framework) that might be incompatible with older versions (current android release was built with Unity 5.1). I love seeing people make mods, especially for both PC and Android, but you might want to set Android on the back-burner for a couple weeks until we can get the update out the door. Once we get the Android beta out the door, you shouldn't have any trouble getting this mod to run on that.
now just the android version
@nathanmikeska PUBLISH SUCCEEDED! :D
@nathanmikeska OK, so now it's steadily uploading - further than it has before.
@nathanmikeska I'll have a try
@WNP78 Still no luck with the Steam workshop? Do you see any additional information in the game's log file after a failed upload? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt
@PikeovlevPlanes @Seabo14 haha you noticed .... :)
Great soundtrack.........;)
