Have you noticed?

So most of you know how annoying it is what someone copies your plane and only changes the paint job. Now the rules state "However, if your variation does not offer any improvements over the existing airplane, then it may be removed." (If you want to see it in the rules the click here), mostly everyone will agree that repainting a creation isn't an improvement and when we had the "genocide of the jelly planes" mods where taking down planes that had been copied and only changed the paint job (even though no other rules where broken). You might be asking you self now "what does this have to do with somthing I haven't noticed?", well here's why.

There is a tag for planes that have been copied and have only had the paint changed. So if the community doesn't think that repainting a plane is an improvement, then why is this tag here?

Still, it's not clickbait, not many people know about this. Besides you don't have much of a say anyways @Mitis

@JetstreamAeroEngineering yes I said clickbait and I was re-wording myself and stickman. And the forum name could be "why is repainted tag there?" People, just have your subject in your title included with your question or statement. this is my last response so take the advice or not IDC.

Lol, you said it was clickbait yourself, I never said anything about removing the tag, it just doesn't make sense why we still have it. @Mitis

@Stickman "Repainted airplane tag removal" is a simple name I know the subject and I still might want to read the post. And I wouldn't use the word clickbait maybe really vague info less title

It makes it easier to find planes under a certain subject though. If I wanted a plane made in WWII, I would go to the "Search" section of the "Aeroplanes" section and hit "By Tags". It would come with lots of WWII planes. @Mitis

I've noticed that tag a few times before. I remember when some people were getting mad about other people only changing the paint scheme/color. Hmm.

No, this is just regarding paint, and I would agree that adding decals would be an improvement to a certain extent. @Flightsonic

Yeah, I did think about if someone wanted do repaint their plane, but it doesn't really make sense to have the tag for that. @Stickman

Well if counting decals and all (which in my book is sort of an improvement) (Lets say billy bob takes MrPot A Toe's Boeing 747 and puts UPS decals on it)
