I just broke my own record by reaching 236,251 feet or about 45 1/2 miles

I reach 55000 feet in the P-51-D by setting the engine HP to 2750000

@master1234 I did that too very fun until you run out of ammo then you kind of just glide and it gets boring because you are so high up I managed it with one single cannon

I did it with a long glider style plane very wide wingspan with just the base game simplest smallest propeller basically the tutorial plane with a wider wingspan, longer fuselage and the prop used 6 scimitar blades (shortened to a diameter of about 65 in)

Use @Thorondil ‘s going the distance aircraft it uses rotators and uses hardly any fuel I managed to get about 150k before I got bored but you could probably go forever with that thing I really recommend downloading it.

I used the removed props, they are weak and save fuel big time. I posted it if you want to see

That's right ornithopters can fly indefinitely on zero fuel. Clever lol

I used an ornithopter, no mods. got to 300 k ish before getting bored.

Ducktones of wings, low drag and an old prop worked for me

I made a super long plane with 1 old engine, and about 6 wings 1 wing for the body 1 for the tail 2 for elevators and 2 for roll.
