New to Simple Planes!

54 AerospaceEngineer1  8.7 years ago

Hi! I'm new to SP and I'm currently working on a replica of the French Dassault Mirage iii for my first aircraft. I was wondering if anyone had any building tips, or has the French Air Force insignias. If you can help me out I'll gladly give credit to anyone that helps! Thanks!

@AerospaceEngineer1 It's not XML. It is a legitimate mod.

@AerospaceEngineer1 you can definitely use xml edited parts, you just can't make them yourself. However, by "mods" I meant actual mods, not xml edits. Things like new parts or HellFireKoder's fine tuner.

Make the best with what I got. I have half of it pretty much done. It's not that hard to find a way around problems. @Skua @ThunderscreechEngineering Plus I've had xml modded parts before? They've worked before on here.

@ThunderscreechEngineering yeah, sadly Apple doesn't allow for third-party modifications to apps. They like to keep everything sealed away from users, which does make for a simpler experience, but it can be annoying in cases like this.

@AerospaceEngineer1 Nevermind, I guess that makes Apple users have slightly less detailed planes.

@AerospaceEngineer1 It works on every version. Go to highest rated and all time on forums and scroll down a little and you'll find it. Follow the iOS instructions to install it.

Do you have the link to it? Plus I am on my iPad Air I don't think certain beta parts will work. @ThunderscreechEngineering

@AerospaceEngineer1 It allows you to clip parts into others and rotate them to any angle.

What is that and what does it do?@ThunderscreechEngineering

Alright what is it you have to offer? @GriffithAir

@AerospaceEngineer1 Get HellFireKoder's Fine Tuner. It may be a little annoying, but still really good overall.

I understand. I'm new to this app however I got a good feel for the controls. I'm using schematics and picture references for the build. I'm well set, but thanks for the concern! @ThePhantomGuy
