I think the most annoying part of the scale="x,y,z" feature is that the bullets and the flame effect does not scale with the part. It makes otherwise intimidating and powerful massive guns look like child's toys. Also, can the bullet start position be at the back of the barrel?
@reCarn massScale changes the mass - or the WEIGHT
@reCarn massScale is just 1 number.
@IStoleYourMeme @WNP78 , thanks guys, I'll give this xml thing another chance. Wish me luck!
@reCarn OK so imagine I just typed a less than symbol
part partType="block-1" scale="2,2,2" position="blah, blah, blah"
etc>
@reCarn It has to go before the > at the end of the line.
Ex: materials="11" scale="1.5,1.5,1.5">
@WNP78 oh...properties then? Ok, I'll do that. I'm assuming massScale is just scaling all 3 dimensions by "n".
I would have put a less than symbol in front of 'part' but the website prevents me, in order to block inline HTML.
@IStoleYourMeme @reCarn @LoadingCheese you can actually put
scale="x,y,z"
In any part of the part partType="...... > bit.
Oh and you can add massScale="n" (of course, substituting n)
@IStoleYourMeme ok, I tried but nothing seems to change. I've tried putting it after the /> which doesn't seem to work. No clue exactly where to put it. Can I ask for a sample code here?
@reCarn You have to add it yourself. After the materials section, put:
scale="x,y,z"
@IStoleYourMeme how exactly? Please?
@reCarn It's a new thing that can be XML edited to change the size of parts
What's scale? Is it a new feature?
@BritishNarwhal the main thing is the bullets and the effect not scaling
I think the bullet start position is fine where it is, it allows us to make more accurate replicas that have gunt that shoot through the propellers without exploding.
also, i think i have seen some people who made planes with modified start positions.
