Some of my aircraft seem to be rolling to the right I've tried mirroring [that usualy fixes that problem before beta] and nothing happened it still pulled right. Also I've mentioned this before but when you download or use the undo button in the editor it makes the planes paint job go to all flat paint this is also very annoying. Also some times the rotators and hinge rotators get randomly tilted up for some reason. Also the car engine makes sound even when not on.Also pitch on some planes doesn't work I have to remove the control surface and add it again for it to work.These are the bugs I've encountered so far in the iOS beta.
this is pretty old post lol. But I've never encountered that one before @blackvultureaeroespace
Welll i dont know if this is a bug but when a bomb explodes far,you hear the BOOM,and then you pass near where it exploded and you heard the explosion again.
This ocurs specialy with DIY missiles.
SAME WITH COMPUTER
Ok thanks
Yep most of these have been fixed now @GreyGhostCVN6
I've gotten the full update, but I haven't experienced any problems, except for a crap ton of lag, possibly because of the 100+ planes I've downloaded
@NathanMikeska In 1.4.1.0 the shadows were fixed! :) I'm experiencing a quite large performance loss though... I can't run even the simplest of planes on medium physics or higher. The game is still playable though, as most planes (even bigger ones) will run fine on low physics.
@NathanMikeska Ok, so I tested it and the settings doesn't change anything about it. (Shadows on [medium or high] = zebra stripes, shadows off = no zebra stripes) I can confirm that the high and medium shadow settings work as intended. (Shadows casted on the plane only shows on high settings)
When It Appears
I will link some pictures too
@NathanMikeska No, the issue with the shadows started already when I updated to 1.3. I'll get back to you with what different settings do when I have tested it thoroughly.
@kikasshes hmmm... ok, thanks. I'm surprised to hear that the issue still happens on medium shadow settings. It looks like its an issue with the plane casting shadows on itself, which shouldn't happen on medium quality. The self shadowing has been an issue on some devices ever since we moved to Unity 5 though. We have an S6 and S7 here at the office and both have messed up shadows at high quality (we also have an S4, but no S5... what luck..). Setting the quality to medium usually avoids the worst of the trouble though. I'm assuming the shadows worked fine for you before the beta on this same device? What is your airplane reflections setting when you see this issue?
@NathanMikeska Samsung s5 android 5.0. The zebra shadows show on both medium and high shadow settings. (And other settings doesn't do anything about it.) The only way to get rid of them is to disable shadows altogether.
@kikasshes Regarding the zebra shadows... What device are you using? What shadow settings? Does it happen at any of the other shadow settings?
@AndrewGarrison ok sounds good
Yep same thing on my phone @Sumopilot
Strange it came out on the 29th like they said it would @Upquark
wait, my ipad says that the beta is not even available... what
The racetracks on the new island are disco lord on my iphone6.
Can't wait till this bug gets fixed it's driving me nuts.
@TheBoeingEngineer In 1-2 weeks.
I don't think there is one. There might be, but I don't think so. The Devs said that mobile could not handle the huge islands@Jasperjl
@AndrewGarrison when do you think the actual update will come for IOS?
Ok @AndrewGarrison it's Kevin's little bugger that's the only plane that does the rotator glitch for me it's the stock dunebuggy it happens when i load up the designer and it only happens some times. The hinge rotators and small rotators are facing upwards but the act as if they are still connected. I've tagged you in the planes that are rolling to the right. hanks for the response!
@AndrewGarrison I also second the annoyance of all paint turning flat when undoing.
@AndrewGarrison These screens show when loading the editor.
@AndrewGarrison The hitbox of the resizable wheels doesn't scale properly. (When using scale="x,y,z")
