So... I just made it to the Snowstone missile base. INSIDE IT. But: I never got the Missile Base location! I have all other discovered locations. HAAAAALP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (Yes I know I can make a custom location, but I tried that and it's a bad location!)

You can't crash. Your plane must still be undamaged when stopping in the Ice Base to get that location.
