It runs perfectly fine on an iPhone X, though, even on high graphics and physics settings and such. It outperforms my pc. Just not so well on my old iPad (which doesn’t work anymore), or my new-ish one for that matter. I guess it depends on your device... it seems to run pretty well on devices with at least 3 gb of ram.
I realized my problem was that I had physics settings on high. When I turned them on low, I could run it even on a pretty old and slow iPad. It could handle a decent amount of parts.
So, I don't have the BEST phone (It's better than any iPhone(Other than the 5 or 6)), So I just turn off shadows and reflections, and turn everything else as low as it can go. My phone could run it with a little better settings but i like the game being faster. The game lags only a little when there is a single ai, but multiple start getting worse. The game also lags when something explodes (depending on the size).
That's the only way I can play the game..
My personal advice stay away from weapons at all costs and minimize the amount of rotators to (all kinds) and in general keep the part amount on you creations to a minimum
Cheak your ai planes spawn, my game always likes to (for some unexplainable reason) keep spawning planes, so just click de spawn all and that SHOULD jump start your game back to a glorious 60fps
Also @AndrewGarrison I think you should look into to this, I have my game settings ai planes to sparse, yet it keeps spacing in planes, also when ever I enter test flight the game suddenly spawns 3 random planes

Laggy when over 200 parts or so
Even huge builds
The keyboard input makes the game freeze for a minute
2.9 years later still laggy
1 year later still very laggy
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 and I have the same problem.
My ipad couldn't handle the game its so laggy makes me angry

It really needs to get all of its opmisation issues fixed
I have this problem really bad because I have an I pad 3 currently and it's quite slow and no 1080p

Good suggestions. Also try disabling Video Replay in the main menu.
its gotten better for me it went from 20 - 30 fps to 40 - 60 fps
Fine for me
i changed my graphics to mediom, and some other bits down some and i run smoothly
Go to settings and change ai traffic to none and see if that helps
