@SimpleTechAndResearch, @TheLatentImage is right. I don't build too much stuff anymore, as I'm busy and not too inspired. When the inspiration hits, that's when I build. Otherwise, I'm just a warm body hanging around the site offering advice.

@SimpleTechAndResearch I still come here every day and talk and check out other people's stuff. But that doesn't mean that I'm trying to put work into the editor and getting nowhere with it. You don't have to take a break from the whole thing, just the building part.

@RyneKuczy is right. If you aren't having any luck getting ideas into the editor then don't force it. You won't have any fun building and you'll most likely just end up frustrated. Take a break, and then come back to it. A lot of artists use this method when they feel as if they have become stagnant. Taking a break and coming back with a fresh set of eyes and a fresh brain can be really beneficial.

When I run out of ideas I just take a break for a week or two. Maybe you could try that?

@Liquidfox Video games would do nicely. I've never watched cartoons and I rarely watch animes
