Should I???

501 xplane10  8.6 years ago

So I am thinking about buying sp on steam for my computer. The discount got the better of me. What I want to know is how well will it run? My pc specs are:
Dell inspiron 3520 laptop
Windows 7 64 bit
6 GB ram
Intel core i3
Cpu 2.40 GHz
I wonder if the graphics will be good and run at 30-60 fps? I thimk it might, considering it runs FSX and GTR2 and Ets2 fine. And is it worth it? I think it is. Tell me if you are a pc user and how it is. Upvote if you think I should buy it. Thank you!

It even works on a toaster. I play it on a Windows 8.1 without special components and it runs well.

@xplane10 lol good for you. I wasn't too sure as I have a late '15 iMac with i5 over 32GB of RAM on max and it's fine, so I'm glad it works.

@kikasshes @DatWalrus @jsaret @AaronSonAirCrafts @IStoleYourMeme Well I bought it! And WOW. I was amazed. The graphics were all maxed out, and it looks beautiful. And I get 60-100 Fps. Now I can build way better. Expect some new builds coming out soon. I also am excited about the pc only island, the desert. Can someone tell me how to get to it? Thx for the points too! I really appreciate it! ✈️🛩🛫🚀🛬💚💚

@DatWalrus Do you mean scale? scale="x,y,z"
To change the sizes of wings you have to change the values in rootleadingoffset, roottrailingoffset, tipleadingoffset, tiptrailingoffset and tip position.

It's totally worth it. The only thing I might worry about is the i3. Other than that, it sounds fine if a bit thin on power.

its worth it, mine is half of that, in fact is older specs, mine is running 2gb ram, intel pentium 4, 2.70ghz, but the reason mine doesn't lag is because i top it off with a gtx 950, so i'm pretty sure yours will run

yours is good compared to mine. I run on Windows 10 with 4 RAM and 64bit prossecing. mine actually sucks but I'm thinking of getting steam simple planes. I meet the requirements (except maybe the cpu).

@kikasshes OK! I will buy it then. I do like the idea of building on the pc.

It is worth it even if you can't run on the highest settings. I use a sh*t pc, but I still prefer building on the pc.
