1) guns are too op
1 shot kills a plane, pretty much
2) they should be able to knock out a bridge if they can do this AND KILL AN ARMORED DESTROYER
3)rockets are weak

Eehhh I don't think they should be able to take out bridges or destroyers-- it's make things too easy.
I do, however, like the idea of a damage system instead of just getting ripped apart by a stray bullet.

I have always wanted to see HP damage in this game, it'll be the ultimate stopgap if they do not want to (and they really don't need to) make super in-depth damage models. They have other priorities, so just make it so that the guns have a set damage, and parts have a set/scaling HP.
Agreed. We should have some sort of damage counter for plane parts to know how much it takes before breaking off, or maybe some kind of connection strength property. Although that may be too much, especially on mobile.
Guns should be able to wound bridges, do almost nothing to ships, and slow down damage on planes @jsaret
I like the XML-able-ness of the gun strength, however I think the default guns are OP.
