Ice base missile targeting

11.2k Birdman9301  8.6 years ago

I have found a way around being targeted by the missiles at the ice base. It does not include speed. Even super slow airplanes can evade lock on. If you're interested comment.

You need to connect all your fuel to your cockpit so that when it detaches it still shows your fuel amount. @Ignitro27

When your cockpit disconnects from your airplane you are still able to move the flaps and control the engines. So if you disconnect your cockpit and then fly your airplane around you won't be targeted. @airomod

If the game believes that your airplane is "severely damaged" the missiles will not target your airplane. So if you can make an airplane where your cockpit disconnects you will not be targeted by the missile batteries.@Redlord @airomod @FuRiOuSpLaNeS @Ambarveis @GriffithAir @Mox @RedstoneAeroAviation @RedstoneAeroAviation @KingDeadshot
