ugh i can't get it to work @OtterOfToast if i put a bunch of engines on it it'll not go straight and if i don't it won't work

@Jetspeed1001 Because it's a huge bloody ship. If you want to be able to steer it, I'd suggest using lots of engines O_O

@Jetspeed1001 Click on the VTOL engines instead of dragging it. It'll give you the specs. You need to use a whole lot more that 4, that's for sure.

How do I know the mass of the ship? @OtterOfToast it's my first ship so...

@Jetspeed1001 What's the ship's mass? make sure the sum of the VTOL engine's combined thrust is greater than the mass of the ship. Depending on what you want the turn radius to be, you'll need more engines to compensate.

How many engines do I need? @OtterOfToast

On this ship I have 4 engines in the back @OtterOfToast

@Jetspeed1001 You need to pile VTOL engines all up in that hull, or that boat will get nowhere. You've got the right idea only adding one on each side on bow and stern, but you may need more engines. I don't know how many you're using. Also, these jets should be controlled with yaw. Q and E.
