OVERVIEW:
The M-101 is certainly a competent aircraft, although landings are a bit tricky. It is exceptionally fast and maneuverable.

COMBAT PERFORMANCE:
The aircraft's range under a full combat load is considered excellent. The T3000 engine provides excellent power, and was quite maneuverable. The excellent aerodynamics allow for good performance

The lack of air brakes was troubling for the pilots.

INTEGRAL FIREPOWER:
The four Mk 2 machine guns in the wings are ill-concentrated, and lack the raw volume of the Pummeler and the anti-armor abilities of the Boar.

EXTERNAL LOADS:
The external weapons load is inferior to the Pummeler and the Boar, as two of the hardpoints are missile-only.

DURABILITY:
The type appeared quite durable to battle damage due to the multiple redundancies in the design. The two engines provide some redundancy to damage.

VISIBILITY:
Cockpit visibility is excellent, much better than the Pummeler but slightly worse than the Boar.

LOGISTICS:
The T3000 engines are fairly reliable and well-regarded.

The M-101's propeller blades were non-standard, and as a result, were fitted with Mk 4 blades, the type used on the Provider II transport. The Mk 4 propeller has 4 blades, is 115 inches in diameter, has a chord distance of 3, and uses Cessna-type blades. The aircraft was able to fly much faster and farther as a result. The machine was also refitted with air brakes.
