I've been wondering this the whole couple of weeks... How on earth are you supposed to reverse your grand creation aka a vehicle with car engine(s) in it? I hate putting a vtol engine and a pair of nozzles into a car I want to be able to reverse.
Advice appreciated, thanks!
I didn't know that too but now I know thx
@Potkuri yeah pitch is what I use. Plus you can still use brake to hold the vehicle stationary
Ah, just realized pitch control works just like throttle. It you let it go, the previous value remains and the car keeps going forward (or back) pulling throttle back applies brakes. The only drawback is you can't see the current amount of throttle.
Just downloaded a Formula one which used this method. Thanks for the tip anyways!
A note to the devs: a gear knob (using vtol control maybe) would be nice for those who want to use throttle as input for car engine.
if you set the engines input to pitch pulling back will make it reverse ;)
