The Surrender

147k Pilotmario  8.5 years ago

A Teuton Heer officers, head held high in dignity, approach the Pilotmario Marine Corps command center. He clutches a white rag, which he raises. Two Pilotmarian soldiers march to him, and escort him to their commanding officer, General Barker.

When he entered the room, they were surprised to find a woman at the desk, sorting papers and maps.

The mustached officer asked her "Do you know where General Barker is? I assume these men have brought me here, but I do not see him."

She stood up and replied "I am General Barker." Extending her hand, she said "Nice to meet you, General Hoff."

He said "Nice to meet you, General," as they both sat down.

She said "My orders from High Command state that unconditional surrender is the only acceptable option. There is nothing to discuss, other than whether you will surrender your command now or later."

He asked "I must inquire how you got to your position. Were you married to a General?"

She said "I am not married, have never been, and do not intend to. This is not relevant to the situation at hand. Do you wish to surrender now?"

He asked "I would like to know who I am surrendering to."

She sighed "If you wish to know, I am General Valerie Barker, mother of three, and the woman who you wish to surrender to."

He said haughtily "So I am surrendering to a sex-crazed wench of a woman? An immoral soul, to lead the scum that is your army?"

General Barker laughed. "What do you find funny about this?" asked General Hoff.

She replied "You regard me and my forces so lowly, yet it is these same scum, led by an immoral sex-crazed wench, who managed to reduce your five elite Viking divisions into what can barely be constructed as a regiment in four days of battle with nothing but one division of mechanized infantry with old tanks and a wing of old piston-engine planes."

He said "I see. An impressive accomplishment for scum led by a wench."

She chuckled "I would be careful who you would call a wench or scum. You have been defeated handily by them, and are now pleading to that wench for mercy."

The air war, that was the main mission of the British was to deal with the runways. They, despite their best efforts, failed to stop French made strike aircraft from sinking many ships, they used Exocet missiles. @Pilotmario

It is, I suppose. While the Pilotmario ground forces were much smaller than their Teuton counterparts, the air and naval forces were much bigger. The Kaiserliche Teuton only had a minesweeper, a chartered cargo ship, and a destroyer, while the Pilotmario Navy deployed a carrier, several logistics ships, two Royal Love-class cruisers (Percival Point and Barracuda Island), 9 Endurance-class destroyers and four Dragot-class frigates. In what has to be the most lopsided battle, the Teuton destroyer Eagle went up against the Percival Point and the Barracuda Island, and predictably, was totally obliterated in a hail of gunfire and missiles. The minesweeper, M1991, remained in port as a floating AA battery, and was scuttled when the Pilotmario Marines threatened to capture the port. The cargo ship attempted to flee, but was intercepted by the destroyer Lancer. As the cargo ship was civilian, the crew was interned on the destroyer Lancer and the ship was scuttled. The crew was returned home via the Teuton Embassy in Leon. @PINK

However, that sounds similar to the Falklands Campaign. @Pilotmario

They had two wings of AF-05 Blitz attackers, a wing of Me-191 Hummel and a wing of Ju 2704 Thor transports. However, Colonel Mark Carter, commander of Bravo Wing of the 9th Attack division, mounted an attack on their airfield, taking advantage of terrain and flying very low to the ocean surface to avoid detection by radar in order to maximize surprise. The Teutons were caught off-guard by the attack, and were destroyed on the ground. The Mk 2-equipped squadrons went for parked aircraft and softer installations, while the Mk 4-equipped squadrons engaged the aircraft in hardened hangars with their armor-piercing ammunition. The Hummel fared the best, as they were afforded the hardened hangars, but could not rise up due to damage done to the airfield, although the damage at this point was repairable. The next day, the cruiser PMRS Percival Point shelled the runway with 152mm coil guns, permanently putting the runway out of action. For the rest of the campaign, the Pilotmario Air Force maintained air supremacy. @PINK

The sheer size of these pricks army makes them notable, if they just had handheld weapons, and a few s----- planes, they could overwhelm most armies. @Pilotmario @Polandball @Flightsonic
