or where they set there followers standards too high so a good plane gets unnoticed yet a bad plane from a good user get 999999999999 upvotes@TheOwlAce
@MechWARRIOR57 Thats one problem with the higher builders, they have soo many followers that they can just post a cockpit with a catchy sentence and BAM, twenty upvotes. And then there are the ones that got on when this went to steam and all those new guys just rose through the ranks in no time. FOr minor stuff. And the worst I think is the ones that do nothing but post forum post...nothing. Else.
i know how you feel its horrable when someone just get a stock plane slap a huge engine and some guns and call it a day and get 20 followers and 30 upvotes while we are spending days even months and we get nothing@TheOwlAce
@TheOwlAce sure thing man. Now, reflect on some of what we've talked about this evening. Give it some good thought, use some of it for inspiration and drive. And then take that and use it in the editor. When you think you've got something really good that you're super proud of... tag me when you upload it and I'll give it a look and let you know what I think.
@TheOwlAce sure, it's better than ok. It's good. I haven't downloaded anything and taken a real close look, but having scrolled through your catalog of designs it looks like you've got some good stuff in there.
@TheOwlAce make different things. Not that I am an example of an amazing builder... but if you look at my uploads nearly all of them are different from the last. People like seeing things they haven't seen before, and they like seeing realistic and detailed desings. One thing that I personally like seeing is a full sized and fully operational design. Full cockpits, and deign that offer a first person experience. It's really cool and immersing to loom around and feel like I'm sitting inside of something. Or if someone has done really cool things mechanical with all of the cool rotators and pistons. I'm not saying that you specifically have to do any of that stuff, but those are the types of things that I like to see.
@TheLatentImage I here you about the upvote part. And I have been thinking about making something a bit different but I like making the stuff I do. Im the main designer in a alternate Germany in the 1940's, and I wrap my designs around that. And I do put effort; few examples, the Flying carriers, the flying battleships, especially the newest one. And I try what I dont make in size I do make in perfection, as in the Bf-133, a design I've been upgrading for almost five months!
@TheOwlAce that is certainly understandable. But you will get nowhere by cursing and demanding things. If you're playing this game and uploading desings just to get upvotes then you're going about it the wrong way. Build for you, upload for you. As long as you're having fun and you like what you make then that is the most important part. If other people like it and upvote it, then that is cool. But if they don't, then that is ok too. I see that nearly all of your desings have at least a few votes on them. That isn't too bad. My advice would be to try to build something that you haven't seen built before. And if it has been built then do it better than anyone else has. Spend way more time on your designs than you feel like you need to. One of my favorite parts of appreciating a really good build is checking it out and imagining the hours and hours of hard work that it must have taken to achieve what it is that I'm looking at. At any rate getting mad and yelling and cursing at people isn't going to do you any favors, and could even get you banned from here. You don't want to do that, and none of the mods ever want to ban someone.
@TheLatentImage I will. I have been in this game for so long that im devoted to it yet...ever since this hit steam people would come on, make one OKish creation and get so many followers while I try to improve my creations everyday and post big beautiful flying ships...that get nothing... it makes me want to tear my hair out from seeing that.
@TheOwlAce you have every right to be frustrated, but how you manifest that frustration is key. You will attract no one, and potentially lose the attention of people who already follow you by he having in such a way. That is really unacceptable man... there is a saying "You will catch more flies with honey than you will with vinegar." Also "Be like a duck, let the water roll off ya." I think it would be in your best interest to spend a little time considering both of those things.
People are getting unfair points for doing nothing.
I know it's late for this post, @MechWARRIOR57 and @TheOwlAce, but I agree.

@TheLatentImage Ive deleted the post.
@TheLatentImage Sorry for that, my frustration got the better of me
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't give you a temporary vacation from here for that little stunt?
What makes you think that you can make a post like that and to speak to everyone in such a way? You know the rules...
@Brields95 Thanks!
Take one from any of my most recent uploads. Make sure to pull it off at the rotator cuff.
