This is a challenge to determine the highest speed possible following a few simple guidelines.
1: NO XML MODDED ENGINES OR FUEL
If your plane has modified power output or fuel capacity, it is disqualified.
2: NO DECOUPLER VTOL POWER
If your plane uses decoupled VTOL engines to power it, it is disqualified.
3: MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE OFF/LAND
If your plane has no landing gear, it is disqualified.
4: MUST BE MANUVERABLE
If your plane is just a rocket with a few tiny fins, and it can hardly roll/pitch, it will be disqualified.
5: MUST RESEMBLE A PLANE
This rule is kind of vague, but you should be O.K. as long as it isn't just an engine. If you follow the rest of the rules, you should be fine for this one.
6: NO MORE THAN 4 ENGINES
This rule is to prevent stacking a load of BFE300's on your plane and calling it a day.
