Not necessarily-however it does make planes more stable @Supercraft888

People say that making the wings all symmetrical works, is that true?

Canards and any pitch surfaces should be inversed, and high engine/TTW ratio helps decrease speed-along with lowering wing loading. @Supercraft888 @MasterMindIndustries

back-slept Sharp wings always bring the best result in maneuverability in my opinion. engines (specifically jet/turbofan) should be placed in the middle of the plane ( where the COM is ) ONLY IF you're going at supersonic speeds(1500-5000 MPH) regular speeds like 0-1000 MPH You should put the engine in the back or on Primary wings,

wing distance should generally be far. but if they need to be close then the secondary wings need to be higher than the primary wings. @Supercraft888

Ok, that's the basic, everyone knows that, I mean like wing shape, engine placement, and wing distance and layout, delta, or Canards

make sure the COL IS ALWAYS BEHIND the COM, the further the COM is from the COL. The less manueravble it becomes. the closer the COM Is to the COL The more manuervable the plane becomes. don't always make it too close or too far as you can render your aircraft virtually unusable
