Dear Developers of SimplePlanes,
I’d like to start this off by saying I absolutely love your game! You’ve captured my love for flight simulation and my creative mind and allowed me to build just about whatever I want. You even made this game easy to run on most computers for everyone to play. There's already so much in the game to do but I feel like it wouldn’t be hard just to add a little more.
I’ve noticed you’re able to fill up fuselage parts with fuel and you’re able to make parts that fall off, so, taking inspiration from modern war planes, I made detachable fuel pods. I like them and they’re nifty to have but they just don’t seem to work right. Is there any way you can make a setting on the fuselage parts to “Use this fuel first” so when you drop the fuel tanks off, you’re not wasting a percentage of your aircraft's fuel.
I’ve also noticed that the guns always shoot in a straight line. It's nice if you’re a sniper but for most of us, we’re in rigidity aircraft that are always bobbing and rolling and moving and it's hard to line up a direct line of fire That's why in the real world, there's quite a bit of bullet spread on fighters. I think it would be helpful to have a slider bar that adjusts how much bullet spread the guns have, Similar to the “Turret” tool of Garry’s Mod.
Speaking of Garry’s Mod, the color painting tool you currently have does not allow a full range of color. I think it would be nice to switch to an adjustable RGB scale similar to Garry’s Mod’s “Color” tool
I also find that when I’m flying and have AI Traffic turned on, I sometimes find other planes that I’ve built. I like that! Is there any way there could be a setting to make certain planes more common to spawn than others? I’m tired of the same tutorial plane and twin prop plane coming up everywhere. Also, Is there any way that aircraft could have a setting to spawn hostile so there's random dogfighting? Or maybe when you click the option to spawn in a plane you’d be able to make it hostile. That way you don't get blown up while testing a design.
I also have a small list of other ideas that could be implemented in the game:
Landing gears that don’t clip with the plane
Option to refuel/repair when still on runway
New air intake that’s resizable and can be shaped (Curved,Circular,Smooth,Hard,Custom)
When scaling fuselage parts, being able to make things smaller
Resizing the hitbox of guns so you don’t always blow yourself up
Larger rocket pod (19 rockets?)
I think these could really benefit the game and make it more immersive to the players. Sorry if I’m bothering you with all these update ideas, it is “SimplePlanes” afterall.

@ACMECo1940 I'm not talking about like soft body physics on all parts (that would probably tank the performance of low end PCs) but just like when a part gets hit drag increases and if it's hit enough it'll break off. Maybe if it hits an engine it'll kill or reduce the power but I'd be fine not having that

@JacobHardy64 Yeah. I'd love to be able to have realistic dogfights and have the dead plane fall out of the sky when I win, or struggle to control a damaged plane over the either perfectly fine or totally obliviated planes the current bullet model allows for

@JacobHardy64 nothing besides fire rate and bullet speed really matter, because one shot totally destroys a plane anyways. Spread would be really really good though
The bullet spread is really smart. I think we should be able to adjust caliber too.
Good ideas. Make sure you submit them on our user voice site so we don't lose track of them. Also make sure you up vote any ideas on there that you like. When submitting ideas, make sure to only put a single idea into each submission. (i.e. Don't cram all of these into a single idea submission. )

Great idea. As for the refueling part, restart here is pretty much the same thing. I have an addition too. What about swarm fire rocket pods. They would fire off all of their rockets in a very short amount of time.

For hostile AI planes, build a few "generic" planes and give them weapons, they will not attack you on sight if they spawn in sandbox but, if you aggro them by locking on to them, they will retaliate by force.
Just remember the 7 wing limit for planes to spawn in sandbox.

@JackAlpha26 again I heard this from someone els, they would have to rewrite the whole game and a few other thing that I forgot. (Ps there isn't a direct rule for t his but can you remove the cuss word out of that comment, I just saw a small thing that kids use this site so that's why I ask)
