The forces of the Teuton Empire has retaken Maywar Island from the control of the Pilotmario Republic.

The Teutons deployed 11 elite Wiking divisions as well as 9 Vandarian Army regiments, complete with Panther III tanks and helicopters. The Teuton troops have trained extensively in their own deserts, and are very much prepared as much as their modified equipment. They were supported by 8 combined air groups and the Hamburg and Kiel Naval Divisions, incorporating no aircraft carriers but heavily employing light cruisers, destroyers, and seagoing missile boats.

Against this force stood the destroyer PMRS Resolute (DD-212), two cargo vessels the Resolute was escorting, a squadron of Viper F-7B from the 15th Fighter Division and two squadrons of Pummeler A-1D from the 11th Attack Division. On land was Regiment A of the 11th Infantry Division.

Although the Pilotmario Armed Forces fought bravely, they were quickly overwhelmed and driven to the mountains, where they were either completely annihilated or surrendered, destroying their weapons in the process beforehand.

The Pilotmarians and their Korean, Japanese, Sal, and Concordian Exile allies were not happy with this development. The Pilotmario Army 11th Infantry Division, along with 12 other infantry and mechanized divisions, prepare to avenge the men and women of Regiment A. These divisions come from the southern deserts of South-East Paternia. In addition,

The NFK has pledged much more significant forces, deploying 4 divisions of Mongolian troops, men and women who lived in the deserts for their entire lives. In addition, they have deployed eight air wings.

The ToJ and Concordian Exile have pledged their support, but were only able to offer little, since the threat to Japan is too great.

Another battle has begun, and unlike General Jamie Parker's swift destruction of Field Marshall Hoff's divisions, will be a long, drawn out battle.
