I may have no problem with "vanilla" cockpits, I have a real problem with the intakes that the game want us to use.
I mean, I can't create a cool intake without having to try 154875 differents way to do it. Everytime the intakes have a little obstacle in front of them, the engines don't have enough air.
Any idea/suggestion to help me please?
i just hate when I can't actually put the intake in the actual intake if the plane, despite the fact that there should be tons of airflow there. Oh well, the drag system isn't perfect. Stick it some place on the fuselage where no one will notice and call it a day XD
@BRuthless
Oh! Never knew that those engines could serve as intakes!
@Supercraft888 That is true. It's also useful to know that the front ends of engines also serve as intakes and that engines like the J90 and BFE300 have more drag (airflow) than they need, so they can be used as intakes for other engines aswell.
@Vinceinovich
Don't quote me!!! It just something I learnt along the way
@Supercraft888 hm that's interesting, i never saw things like that, that's an helpful information, thanks :D
@Vinceinovich
I think the amount of drag that the intake has the higher the air going into it
Yeah
@kikasshes I see, you do edit plane's files. Thanks for the tip, I'll probably try it out someday ;)
@Vinceinovich Look at this
@kikasshes Probably, but I dont use modding :/ thanks anyway
Scale them
@Supermini555 Will it really work? Will they not be useless as they will be totally obstructed?
Just hide them in fat wings or the fuselage.
Try hiding a lot of intakes inside the fuselages
