Getting more than one notifications of one plane from different users causing unnecessarily increase of the notification list. Just make it specific one notification per plane. Once I get a spotlight notification of a plane then no other spotlight notification would be send to me regarding that plane.
I still hate the new website changes could I run on the old one before spotlight @AndrewGarrison

@AndrewGarrison thank you! That means if the name of the author and plane matches then no notification will be generated for the same.
This is a good idea. I think it's likely that the spotlighting won't be as annoying in a few days once the novelty wears off.

It's almost exactly what I thought would be good. Also, if you have already upvoted the plane, then you should get no Spotlight notifications from it either.
