Previously the war just got started by Ailani's new importation law and Novam Creaturam has had enough with Ailani's tyranny.

Currently both sides are low in military vehicles but with the support of Hawaii the UPI has a better chance. Novam Creaturam knows this and decides it's first mission is to steal some parts and vehicles from Snowstone. The mission is of course at night and goes smoothly. The parts they retrieved that night will change the war and possibly the world. Meanwhile Ailani is peacefully sleeping until his guards wake him up just before dawn. The civilians that would prefer Novam Creaturam over Ailani have started a riot within the main city of Maywar. Ailani doesn't want anyone leaving or entering due to the success of Novam Creaturan's mission last night. Fortunately for the UPI, Novam Creaturam doesn't know what they have in their possession. He knows that if his loyals find out what was stolen he could lose Hawaii as an ally and could possibly have no chance at winning the war. In an effort to show who is boss he has the leader of the riot hanged in the middle of the city. Almost instantly the riot stops but this is just fuel for Novam Creaturan's flame. Both sides count how many people they have with Novam Creaturam at about 700-1,000 and the UPI with about 1,850-2,200. CUT.
