@BaconEggs That shouldn't be a problem here that prevents the scene from changing. If you can share your log file via pastebin after the problem happens then we can take a look.
@AndrewGarrison I found this: "shader program type is unrecognised. You might have a precompiled shader asset from an old Unity version." I'm not sure this is the actual cause, but it sure is something.
