This happened about 2 years ago, in the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
I was queuing to book a flight to Jakarta with my mum, and the line was so long that I decided to sit on my luggage while waiting.
Then a few seconds later, I heard a woman screaming and shouting, apparently to the security guards. I had no idea what happened, but probably she was not allowed to fly for some reason, and she angrily walked around the counters, throwing her handbag and luggage at the guards. She was shouting in mandarin (I think) which I don't understand. Then after a while she was caught and restrained by the guards. Maybe she doesn't have a passport, or a ticket? After she was taken away, everything went back to normal as if nothing happened. :P
What's yours?
saw a 747 taxi in next to my plane recently I made a forum post on it
@amazingperson124 Ok... kinda reminds me when my friend had an asthma attack while we were camping. Fortunately she recovered.
@JovianPat He was on oxygen already, but then he had an asthma attack at the gate
@amazingperson124 Oxygen deprivation?
@JovianPat No masks dropped, but one guy had to go to the hospital
@drdoom222 .....
@JovianPat TWICE.
@drdoom222 Whoa...
@JovianPat he had metal problems. he shot himself.
@drdoom222 I forgot to read your comment :P But how in the world is there a suicidal gunman on an airport?
man, it seems like no one is interested in suicidal gunmen.
@amazingperson124 Did you use an oxygen mask?
@FearlessFabEngineering Hahaha maybe the security thought it was a weapon :P I had a similar experience when I tried to bring a toy water gun on a plane, and the security said that my bag had to go to the baggage.
I was two blocks away when Harrison Ford crashed his plane in Santa Monica.
After a vacation in China, I was flying home from DFW. The cabin depressurized about an hour into the flight, so the captain decided to fly back to Dallas, even though we were halfway to our destination. Yea.
Yeah once I saw two kids in an airport with plastic lightsabers (they could've been normal foam swords, I can't remember) and they wanted to take them as hand luggage, but they were told to put them in their suitcase and they were crying : )
LOL
@FearlessFabEngineering But if I was you I'd be shaking since I thought I carried something forbidden in the airport...
I don't think so...
@BlueCobraCreations Whoa...
@FearlessFabEngineering Random security check?? Maybe you looked suspicious XD
And one time maybe 4-5 years ago, we were flying with United airlines from Frankfurt to Dallas (I think). So we took off, and about 3-4 hours later (I think) the pilot and informed us that we didn't have enough fuel to get there. So we had to fly back, wait about an hour whilst they were fueling the plane and doing some other random stuff, and then we could finally leave. LOL
Once, only about a month ago, we were in an airport flying to Chicago, and we were in the line for the passport checks at the international terminal, when suddenly a security guard took us out of the line and took us to the side. We were told to wait with a bunch of confused looking families, which was kinda weird. So we asked an official, and he said, "you have been randomly selected for a security check". It was extremely strange...
This one time. Actually pretty recent. I was traveling alone and there was a huge line. So I'm in the line with a couple of other people and this weird dude says to the guy behind me "is he with you?" The guy was nah idk, the the weird guy kept on staring at me. In my head I was like "wtf u want m8?" That's mah story
KLIA Is an Malaysian Airport๐๐๐๐
