A recently wed couple was interviewed by the host of Spartan Challenge, a reality TV game show. This transcript is perhaps the most interesting.
TV Host: Welcome to Spartan Challenge, where five teams of two compete in the world's most physically demanding obstacle course, the Paternian Marine Raider Course, in order to have a chance at winning one million dollars!
Our first couple is Salman and Sara Abdul Rahman from Casablanca, Morocco! Salman, tell us how you two met?
Salman: We met in Mecca. I was a member of the Paternian Army. I volunteered to join our army in Mecca and Medina during Operation Exorcist, the Paternian Army effort to control the zombie outbreak that swept through Arabia.
We were sent to maintain a corridor and evacuation points in Mecca and Medina, as many refugees would undoubtedly flee there.
It was my job to maintain the corridor so that our navy may take them to safety.
Sara: I was a secretary for the Saudi Binladen Group, and our family decided to flee the zombie threat.
We didn't trust the Paternians back then, and took a route outside of the corridor.
We were attacked by the zombies, who killed a great many of my family. My brothers, sisters, father, mother, cousins, and in-laws were either turned or dead.
Salman: I came in just in time to rescue them. Our squad engaged the zombies with extreme prejudice, and managed to save her. However, her father was a different issue.
The father knew he was infected, and was beginning to turn. He gave me his daughter's hand as a gift for our "forgiveness", that we would rescue them even though they didn't trust them.
I was reluctant, of course. My family has arranged that I be married to another woman. But as he was a dying man, I accepted it.
Sara: By then, he almost turned. And as his oldest child, he knew what I needed to do. I had to shoot my father. He knew it needed to be done. He knew that today was the day he dies. So Salman handed me a pistol. I placed it to my father's head, and after a short prayer, I pull the trigger. Every day, I pray that Allah will forgive me.
Salman: For three days, I visited her to comfort her. I could not hug her, for she was in quarantine in Evacuation Port Alpha. But I did my best, and soon, she started feeling better.
Sara: It turns out, even though I was bit, I did not turn. I was an immune. I thank Allah for this, so that I can enjoy his Earth until my time comes.
Salman: I told my family about this, and thought that given the circumstances, I should be married to Sara.
Sara: Once I was released from quarantine, we got married in short order. Took three days in a very simple wedding.
Salman: We lived on base for awhile until we were ordered to return to North Africa. Mecca and Medina have been evacuated, and we were one of the last to evacuate.
Sara: We settled back in Salman's home after he was discharged. I'm now attending the University of Casablanca, studying microbiology.
Salman: I'm now pursuing a business degree at the University of Casablanca. It was His word that we be together, I suppose.
TV host: What a touching story, Salman and Sara. What got you interested in this competition?
Sara: We saw this on TV and though "Why not? Why not challenge ourselves?" We thought this will be fun and bring us even closer together.
Salman: What she said. It's her idea, and I agreed.
@UnknownNate I know right? Total Bs
@JakeTheDogg "pace..." meaning that if I too Unleashed a Zombie Apocalypse he too should've been having destroyed cities right?
@JakeTheDogg I don't understand how you believe this. A Cliche Zombie apocalypse,
Why are you glorifying your failed Zombification Attempt? It lost horribly. You didn't get very far. It never reached Medina and you written this meaning it cant be true
She was quarantined and checked before release. As Salman was living with intimate contact for at least three months and he nor his family or anyone around shows symptoms of infection, it's safe to say she's an immune. @JakeTheDogg
She was determined to be immune, something only 0.5% of the population are. @JakeTheDogg
