WW3 ended and the Moscow Pact lost and the 3rd Reich began shipping nuclear plans everywhere. The only country that got them was the USSR. The USSR begins constructing nukes. They get only 3 done, but it frightens Koreans and a civil war begins. In the end the communists win and take the Northern part of Korea. It joins the Moscow Pact. The Korean peninsula is a very hot spot due to North Korea even more hotter then the Middle East of today's timeline.
