Summary
During the Great World War 2 and the Biological War, the Paternian Republic and the Northern Federation of Korea (NFK) were in a state of war with the Excellent Persian Caliphate, or EPC (later Excellent Arabic Caliphate, or EAC), and the Caliphate of Awwam. It was decided by Joint Command to assess the performance of not only its own forces, but the performance of all armies, in order to accurately assess the overall performance of the Paternian Armed Forces relative to the opponents that were engaged.
Paternian Armed Forces
Summary
The Paternian Armed Forces as a whole performed well, able to successfully integrate unconventional warfare tactics with psychological warfare and limited conventional warfare in order to challenge a numerically superior opponent.
The aim of the Paternian Armed Forces was not necessary strategic victory, but to render the Arabian and Awwami Armed Forces impotent through psychological attacks against both military and civilian targets and the destruction of their logistics capacity. In addition, the Paternian Armed Forces sought to deplete the money, material, and manpower of the EAC and Awwam through attrition.
To this end, the Paternian Armed Forces were incredibly successful. While unable to stop the EAC and Awwam from taking over India and China, it was able to inflict heavy casualties among the occupying forces.
Paternian Army
The Paternian Army primarily employed highly mobile unconventional forces such as Scout Rangers, mechanized cavalry, and paratroopers, supported by more static conventional forces such as infantry, armor, logistics, and artillery.
The aim of the unconventional forces was to weaken the enemy force through highly disparate attrition of material, manpower, and morale. Once this has been accomplished, conventional forces move in to mop up the remaining resistance in a swift and decisive strike. Conventional forces would then consolidate the region, with unconventional forces engaging the enemy rear in order to slow down or halt efforts to organize a counter-attack.
This tactic was most effective on smaller-scale engagements, such as in Hainan Island, Guadalcanal Airfield, and Korea, where it was easier to control Awwami and Arabian logistics efforts through the use of the Paternian Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force.
Paternian Navy
The Paternian Navy utilized similar tactics as the Paternian Army, using stealthy, high-endurance machines, such as submarines, long-range patrol aircraft, and small patrol gunboats, in order to interdict and sink unescorted Awwami and EAC shipping. Larger warships, such as destroyers and cruisers, would support said warships as well as Army operations on land.
Awwami and EAC cargo ships had few, if any, weapons which could seriously harm Paternian surface raiders, submarines, and aircraft. Individual captains often refused to allow themselves to become parts of convoys, fearing that other captains with slower ships will slow them down. As a result, it was very easy for Paternian Navy submarines and surface raiders to hunt down and destroy them.
It was until much later in the war did the Awwami Navy and the Arabian Navy instituted convoys protected by converted civilian vessels, helicopter carriers, and cheap but effective frigates. This significantly reduced the force effectiveness, and the Paternian Navy suffered many losses of surface raiders, patrol aircraft, and submarines.
The Paternian Navy employed its light cruisers as surface raiders, finding destroyers perfectly adequate for fire support. These cruisers, the North Point-class, posed a significant threat to convoys due to its high speed and incredible gunnery firepower of its 152mm rapid-fire coilguns.
Hunter-killer tactics were developed. Patrol craft, naval and air, provided valuable reconnaissance. Light cruisers would either force the escorts to engage the cruisers head-on and engage in a battle which many of them will be certainly be destroyed, or scatter and present themselves as targets for submarines.
While the Paternian Navy was effective at dealing with convoys, it could not directly face the superior numbers of the Arabian and Awwami navies in pitched battles. During the Battle of Greenland, the Paternian Navy suffered heavy casualties, although were able to inflict considerable damage to the Arabian and Awwami navies.
Paternian Air Force
The Paternian Air Force, like much of the Paternian Armed Forces, engaged primarily in long-range hit-and-run attacks against logistics infrastructure and rearline supply and staging areas, although they did provide excellent close support for the Paternian Army, and when necessary, the Paternian Marine Corps.
One particular aircraft which stood out was the A-1 Pummeler. Although often considered too vulnerable for a modern battlefield, it proved to be one of the most potent weapons in the Paternian arsenal.
It was as effective a psychological weapon as a physical weapon. Destroying scores of tanks, parked aircraft, trucks, bridges, bunkers, and tunnels, it was renowned for the "spine-rattling" roar of its T2000 radial engine as well as the aircraft's incredible firepower and precision. Due to the age of the design and long service, it was simple, cheap, and easy to repair. With proper protection from friendly fighters and electronic warfare aircraft, the Pummeler was an incredibly effective aircraft.
However, the Paternian Air Force did not operate just Pummelers. The PAF fighter force proved to be incredibly effective, due to the fact Paternian aircraft are typically much faster than any opponent. As a result, it could choose if, when, and where to battle, and therefore only needed to engage when conditions are most optimal. However, the slower, but more maneuverable Awwami, Arabian, and Avaruan fighters did not have this advantage.
As a result, the Paternian Air Force could provide an effective deterrent to fighters, allowing their attack aircraft and cargo aircraft to operate effectively.
Logistics was a huge priority for the Paternian Air Force, and its cargo aircraft delivered tens of thousands of tons of supplies, and were responsible for supplying remote forces with supplies.
However, the performance of the strategic bomber force was lackluster. While it did participate in several bombing raids in Rising Storm, it was largely grounded for the majority of the conflict.
WHEN WILL UNSR BE ADDED TO THE MAP!!!!!!!?!??!?
@LeHoneyBadger
A decnt number of people have read it. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Very well.
@Pilotmario So you wouldn't take our Assessment into Consideration? I guess I'll make my own post then. But it would be useless really since no one reads this
It will be made from the perspective of the Paternian Armed Forces High Command. You probably won't agree with everything I say, but again, this is merely one perspective based on the analysis of your weapons and tactics. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation @Supermini555
Awwami Air Force
The Awwami Airforce comprises of some of the most maneuverable fighters that the war has seen. They are excellent in close range combat, something that the PR fighters are weak at, high turning speeds.
However, it comes at a price, the fighters used during the war were simply too slow to catch up with the PR fighters, allowing the enemy fighters to perform a zoom and boom maneuver, similar to a hit and run scenario except, well, in the air, using guns and missiles instead of the plane itself...
Aerospace researches found a new power resource from weeks of research. It was the EM battery. These power behemoths can power humongous mechs and cities. They also researched laser propulsion and during a test, successfully left earth using said propulsion. The best thing? The EM battery is as large as a 750mm x 750mm x 750mm cube, so it can fit into planes and AFVs with ease. The Lasers have an infinite variability, making thrust value easy to change, especially for space travel.
With these new techs, the late fighters were able to out perform the PR Fighters, coupled with close range tesla coils that can decimate enemy fighters
*Funnily enough, the 359 Replica Fighter can out-turn the modern day fighters, rivalling the M-1 and decimating the PR's fighter, both at close ranges
Royal Armed Forces of the Excellent Arabian Caliphate
Ever Since their Creation. They were the defender's of Middle East and Asia. Spreading like a Wildfire. Their Involvement in the Paternian war Was not expected. Featuring devastating weaponry and arms. They took to The BattleField with no Fear of their enemy. Strategically crushing Strongholds and Nations alike. They Were strong. Mentally and Physically. Being Augmented with a majority of enhancements Naturally and Artificially. We Pushed like a steamroller through the Glass. Crumbling everything left in their path. The Paternian Armed Forces were next. They were a force we never fought. And we were a forve they never encountered. Using their Psychology to try and dissipate our strength. It worked. Only 10% of the time. The Royal Army Stormed pass the Armed Forces. Whilst also defending like a Steel Wall. The most well known Defence was when Operation Rising Storm Commenced. EAC Units were pre-prepared and were ready. As Paternian Brigades Advanced on Arabian Territory. They were met with a Hail of Death. Unbeknownst to their knowledge. They failed tremendously and tragically. They were Unable to get past Saudi Arabia and the Levant. Only Backfiring in on their plans. The Excellent Arabian Caliphate Showed Mercy and Defended Bravely. While sparing the soldiers remaining in the Caliphate, we also Relentlessly invaded through North America Showing Off our Armoury. It was successful. With Canada in our hands Taken Back. It was Concluded that such was Officially A Good Operation. EAC Forces soon after recovered and replenished their endurance. Only to strike another time. Whenever appropriate
Here's for the EAC
@Supermini555 nah just make up something
I didn't take part in any battles, so I don't know... :P @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@Supermini555 😅😁
@Supermini555 Mid-Paragraph I Suggest you putting the Victories and the Few Defeats we faced. Regardless it's actually well written!
Royal Awwami Ground Forces
The Awwami ground troops are meant to be powerful and able to take an absolute beating from enemy fire. Compared to the size of the AFVs from the Paternian Army, they are considerably bigger than them, making them a sight to behold.
However, said tanks have a few small issues; Firstly, the Early tanks are huge, making it an easy target for the enemy tanks, although it is quite hard for them to penetrate it, until the introduction of 160mm RailGuns that can penetrate armour as thick as 1500mm.
Since then, The Awwami Research Team came up with the idea of adding naval RailGuns on top of tanks. While proven very effective, it has a tendency for itself to flip over, making it vunerable for a moment. The Research team also introduced a new line of tanks, DERP Tanks, acting as a crowd control weapon in the battlefield, proven to be frightening enough to enemy infantrymen who comes across them
The Awwami Infantrymen were equipped with a variety of weapons and know a lot of martial arts such as Judo, Karate, Silat, Tae-Kwon-Do and much, much more. They are prepared to fight for their sake of their country, their families and their religion. They are equipped with Rocket Launchers, Assault Rifles, Sniper rifles, Anti-Material Sniper Rifles, Grenade Launchers, MiniGuns, SMGs, and the occasional pistol. They know how to hack into servers and are usually found in the middle lines of the Army Battalion
Only near the end of the war, the Awwami Forces did provide much more practical AFVs to counteract the PR Ground Forces
Although facing a lot of technical troubles, the Ground Forces still packs a punch by outnumbering the PR's Army
Is this Good? @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
I'll Do my entire portion of EAC
@Supermini555 Yeah sure
Awwam Ground Forces, Can I do it? @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@JakeTheDogg Indeed you did. Which is good. GAE also Assisted in helping us Win the war without letting themselves get any Casualties
Can you add Katipunia?
Should I make my Part?
You can't dub the Regiment Name as you Prefer. But continue. I won't stop you. I pity you
