Ya, that's the main reason why I'm getting the advanced.
the dumb wireless connection of P3S really pissed me off...
especially when flying far away..........
P3S could be flew out of control easily but P3A won't be out of range even you can't see it without binoculars

I'm getting a dji phantom 3 Advanced the second I can afford it!(currently projected to be in December:)
They do own the skies @BlueCobraCreations
No DJI, but I am an RC pilot myself. I fly mainly planes though.
