@DisferGoatz if you have a problem with steering, there's a solution. Put VTOL nozzle horizontally and set its input to roll or yaw. Further forward or backward you position it, the better turning. To keep direction after turning, use structural wing as a vertical stabilizer.

It refuses to turn no matter what I do and therefore it's unusable besides just making it sink or going straight forward.

Just put a bunch of small circular windows on the hull, and it's good to go (if it sails properly)
