I totally agree, yet it does depend on how much your device can take, like for example, I have a large iPad, it can hold a lot of stuff, but everything has its limits.

Download iruler.
It lets you download mods easily on ios
And the reasoning behind this makes complete sense becase if we could access the files it would be easyer to get virus on our phones
The reason ios can not do mods is becuase the operating system does not alow you direct access to the files it only alows apps access even then the access is limited so the creaters would have to make it so when you open a mod the OS would dettect that simpleplanes uses that file and simpleplanes will automaticaly install that mod in to the proper files
