Its been a rough first day, right as we landed we we're greeted by thousands of Japanese Troops, bunkers lined up. thousands of bullets everywhere, we barely got on the beach, i say there we're at least 2000 Japanese Troops in those bunkers, lined with air support, our support aircraft from Okinawa made it at the best time, those bunkers we're ablaze at this point. we started to climb the Hills torwards Kogoshima, the first target. 5 of our divisions came from the South-West while my divisions came South-East. When we arrived we saw destruction, other from the Pictures i never seen a Japanese city after being bombed before, it was a horrific sight, we managed to get through half of the city before the heavy resisance came, in my 10 year carreer i've never seen this much resisance before, reinforcements we're called in and came quickly. we managed to Overwhelm the resisance with heavy casulties, then we started to push through the city again. it was at this moment the Earth went dark, i took a bullet to the leg and was quickly bleeding, Medical support was luckily with us and i quicky got back up. we finally captured the city. i cannot continue this message much longer but i promise i will be back, alive.
