@silentflight Ah, I see. Well, I typically build the plane with small fuselage panels and they're often hollow inside. The hardest part is finding out how to make the pieces get the proper shapes!
If you like sleek fixtional, learn to get advanced with fuelslage parts. They make the game go round at this point. Learm to make custom cockpits with them also if you aren't already and you can afford it. Buy the computer version, it has nudging, bigger part count ect. Also, what I do is take apart others builds to see how they work and steal modded parts. It might help ;) @silentflight

My way of building aircraft is pretty slow and is kind of like a puzzle, but I might be able to help.
