Mod request - modified turboprop model

13.8k vonhubert  8.0 years ago

Hi! Can anybody plz make a different turboprop model with all basic specs but with only a mounting point and a propeller? Thus making it similar to adjustable prop engine but with turboprop sound and specs? it will be quite useful to make engines with custom body shape. I do it currently with modded prop engine, but piston sound is inaproppriate on modern airliners.

@LatteCoffee55 well, its not difficult to install mods. Interesting, can you upload a creation with mods and just link to a mod in the description? Or it wont upload at all?

@vonhubert you can ''remove'' the sound from a t1000 and hide a small powerless turboprop inside of it

@LatteCoffee55 Well, not exatly, but it will be useful. I mean, i a way of mod. Scaling down a turboprop so that its body fits inside whatever needed is what i do now, but i dont like it

@Brields95 Exactly what i did so far. But it still sounds as a piston engine. not a complete solution

Just slap the j-28 on the back of a t-1000.

@Supercraft888 yeah, i know. And i did right that. however, i'm not completely sure that it doest'n biase smth in game calculations. Thus i asked that may be somebody can do a model with only a propeller, so it wont be necessary to scale at all. And more importantly - i need it with turboprop sound, And t-3000 (or what is it caleld, a stock turboprop - have to be shrunk even more due to bigger engine model. I dont like that, i have to scale it too much to make a counterrotating twin props ( second engine have to fit within a small fuselage section that prop-center is made of. And this makes for 10%-15% scale with propeller diameter setting of kind of 300 inches.

p.s. language - about "shitty"? ОК, deleted)) Althoug i do not see that word as that seriously obsessive)

You can just scale a t-1000 down, then Increase the size of the props. Also watch your language
