We truly enjoyed our time working with EUCL3D. They offered all of us an amazing opportunity to transform our favorite virtual designs into physical 3D-printed models.
Unfortunately, EUCL3D will be shutting down by the end of this year. They were unable to secure the funding needed to operate for another year. EUCL3D partnered with many other games like SimplePlanes, and we truly appreciate their dedication and hard work.
EUCL3D announced that they will close their website and API early on Monday, December 12.
However, any orders made between now and then, especially over this final weekend, will still be fulfilled completely. Jundroo does not have any plans to partner with another 3D-printing service like EUCL3D at this time. So if you always wanted a 3D-print, here is your last chance.
Again, all EUCL3D orders this weekend will be honored, and this will most likely be the last time this opportunity will be available to you.
Please join us in thanking the entire team at EUCL3D, and wishing them the best of luck in their next venture.
Damn I never knew the service ended lmao
and before I even started playing!
Do I still have time @joeysellers ?
Farewell, @joeysellers :(
Brah, you need to get this back! Imma make a ball with spikes on it and get it printed to throw at my sister! Please!
Well I'm thinking of getting a 3D printer and doing 3D printing for people of course I wouldn't be able to do lots and lots but I recon it would do a few hundred
@frostbite @Seabo14 Yes! The Export function will still be available.
@joeysellers The Export function will be retained, right? Because as a printer, I love being able to print my creations myself.
Idk. I think it's less. @AaltonenIndustries
Aww man. I was looking forward to buying myself a print for Christmas. Oh well 😔 Thank you to EUCL3D.
@ElGatoVolador mix them! It would be rather interesting to see that.
@aircraftarsenal123 no worrys! I can print them for you!
I'm guessing they shut down because not enough people were getting models due to overpricing. I'd much prefer to get one at my library for less than 2 dollars than get an equivalent size one for $120. 😕
NOOOOOO!!!!!iiiiii!!!!!!iiiiii Why?!?! I was gonna...gonna....ya know, do stuff...
Thing
Obj thinf
Will we be able to extract the .obi file thong
Meh
Guess it's time to choose between a tank and a bi-plane
now ill never be able to 3d print my planes unless I get a printer well I guess if I get a printer I could print any size
@PhilipTarpley I will certainly give those a links a look, thanks for your reply.
@TheLatentImage We have no plans to currently.
However, since you can export the .obj file from the game, you can use that to get it 3d printed from many places, such as http://www.shapeways.com/, https://www.whiteclouds.com. Windows 10 even has a 3d printing suite built-in called 3D Builder which uses https://i.materialise.com/.
Will Jundroo be considering other 3D printing companies to offer a comparable product for those that would like to outsource our 3D printing needs?
Well that's.. charming, I never got to buy a 3D printed plane, but we could still import the file, correct?
NUUUUU
Those good old days
