Go here (or anywhere), pick a car/plane/boat, read the description, upvote the creator, download it, (don't forget to comment) save it, drive/fly it alot, figure out how it works by tearing it apart, save things as sub assemblies that you cannot duplicate or are multi-part pieces, don't save it while torn apart, (you can always reload fresh later), then build your own car/plane/boat using the techniques you have learned and the sub assemblies you have created, upload it, fill in the description (spelling properly), and then keep doing it. Uploading, commenting on posts, creating challenges and posting in the forums: that's the way to get points on the website. The plane's only fuel the points.
You got to keep people coming back to your page by clicking on your name hopefully in a comment or in the forums, then them seeing something that you've posted and then up voting.
